Back from Bangkok

Jet lag is a bear, I must say, even with Melatonin. As is 17+ hours in a middle seat on an airplane. Ungh.

Ouch.  The jetlag I could bear with.  17+ hours in a middle seat I could not.

You poor thing!!

I had to note that when I saw your post, it inspired me to break out the soundtrack to Chess so I could hear "One Night in Bangkok." :)

(Sorry for breaking the "don't post in 3-week-old threads" rule of forums, but I had to say...)

ME TOO! We're like twins or something!

And I'm super-jealous. I would spend the 17 hours both ways on a place to spend just two hours in Thailand. A friend of the family's just spent a whole month there. I almost died of pure envy. He's bringing me pictures though, so it's okay. ;D Do you have any pictures, Pingaling?

The quantity of consonants in the English language is constant. If omitted in one place, they turn up in another. When a Bostonian "pahks" his "cah," the lost r's migrate southwest, causing a Texan to "warsh" his car and invest in "erl wells."
