Happy days are here again

To:  All Hogwarts Students
From:  The Indomitable Susan Amelia Bones

I see that it's been nearly a year since I posted last.  Shame on me.

That mistake will be rectified, as of tomorrow morning, near midnight.  I'll be on hand to put my unmistakable stamp of arrogance on any and all topics as I see fit.

Please, please write to me and let me know how all of you are doing.  I miss this place so much!

Alas, I too am guilty of board-neglect. Therefore, I shall not pass judgement on you too harshly. Be not afraid!

I've had lots to do lately, as well. College applications are kicking my butt, especially when my second choice school accepts me, then mysteriously changes its mind and doesn't know if I'm accepted or not. I also have a job where I sit at the computer all day, so by the time I get home, I'm ready for a change of pace.

...like sitting in front of the TV all evening.

Gah, I'm terrible. Anyways, nice to see you back, Susan. ^_^

YEA - glad to see you back Susan.  I am also in board neglect jail - I am getting ready for a trial which has kept me busy.

I'm guilty of not posting too - the shame of it! I think, if anything, we need a big of the good old speculation to keep us posting. Hmm... I need to read HBP again, since I rushed through it to get to the end last time.

*breathes in Hogsmeade air* It's good to be back!

My excuse for board neglect is that I've been dead since book 5, all of my blame goes to that.  If only I'd be brought back...

Sorry to revive this seemingly dead topic, I just haven't been around at all!  I don't expect I'll be around too consistently much more, but I'll do my best to pop in as I can!  I suspect this will coincide with my re-readings of the books... In fact I am about half way through HP and the HBP right now, so I give credit to my re-reading of that to bringining me back.

I'll poke around a bit more as I get time, but for now, it's off to work :-(

Hope everyone is well,
Sirius

A-ch-ske-ba-wha?

You're alive!

*too shocked to administer one of my infamous tackle hugs*

Where are you working? How have you been? What's going on? <Insert intelligent-sounding question here>?

Jeeminy, I've missed you!

 ;D

Thanks for sparing me the tackle!  I'm working at a restaraunt... nothing special, just bussing tables... actually not paying as well as my last job bussing tables, but the people are fairly nice and they work with my on my schedule.  Plus it's a really nice place with around 30 dollar steaks, so the 50% discount makes date nights easier on my wallet ;-)

I've been well -- nothing to complain about at all!  My older sister recently had a baby, so I'm no an uncle, with a niece.  Things with the girlfriend are good, we've been together about 4 or 5 years but there have been more than enough rocky times to counteract the shocking effect the length seems to have on people... being that she and I are still only 18...

Soccer is great, I'm playing for college, just a DIII (smaller division) school.  More than anything else I was excited that I got a full ride scholarship for academics/leadership!  Excuse my boasting, please! I just had to tell...

I'm sad to say, however, that I just finished up book 6 again.  It's 3 a.m. and I'm miserable -- it's by far the saddest book, and I always hate finishing the latest HP book because there's always that seemingly impossibly long wait to come for the next.

Hopefully the board will help fill up that void left by the lack of a new HP!

Thanks for the warm welcome, but mind you, I do expect tha tackle hug... eventually... *shudders*

Ahahahaha!!!!! Sirius!!!!

I tackle-hugged you already somewhere else, so I'll refrain here. Besides, it could spill butterbeer around. :)

Grats on the scholarship! That's fantastic! And the stake sounds really good. It better be for that price, eh? :D

No joke, as I said, it really puts a dent in the wallet...

So I know this is the wrong place to post, and I've read a few topics (sudden headache, remembering how many pages of posting there are still left to read...), but I at this point still do not think I have a concrete grasp on two bits of information that really will make this title of "Happy days are here again" come true for me...

When does Book 7 come out, and
When does movie 5 come out?

Sorry, please don't think I'm just asking without searching and reading a bit, I've done both but I get confused with all the speculation on release dates, and seeing as how I haven't been around in forever, I find myslef reading topics marked as "New" but having the last post in 2005 or so... I'm sorry again, but the release of either of those two titles really WILL mark the return of happy days for me! :)

Thanks!

They're both supposed to come out next summer. A lot of people are saying that book seven will come out on 7/7/07, which would be cool, but we don't know yet.
