Has anyone seen the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe yet?  I haven't, but have heard great reviews.  I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on it.  Anything to look out for in the movie?

Oooh, me me! I seen it! :D

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Little Lucy is adorable, and Edmund is really, really good. Liam Neeson as Aslan's voice is happiness. But I agree with someone else, that the best part of the movie are the cockney beavers. They just make it. I can't explain why. They just rock.

There is some banging and crashing in the fighting scenes, but there's little to no blood. No worse than any of the original Star Wars movies.

There was only one time that I thought, "I don't remember this from the book, and it's kind of boring," but then I got over it pretty quickly.

I just saw it - it was fantastic.  I now have to dig out my old copy of the book to re-read it (gracious, it has been years).

I highly recommend the audio version available at audible.com. Narrated by Michael York. Vastly amusing. I'm on to Prince Caspian once I finish the last couple of books on my player.

I enjoyed it, but I don't know for some reason I didn't find anything to rave about it.  It's good don't think I didn't like it.  Maybe I wasn't in the mood to see it when I did.  :-[

I won't say it's the best movie I've ever seen, but I thought, for one thing, it was a good adaptation of a book to the big screen. There's stuff in the movie that's not in the book, but it's all stuff that adds to the characters and the plot. They left out a few things that don't work, altered a few other things to ramp up the tension, and all in all did a good job.

I think I'd have liked it a lot better if I were a bit younger, though. *shrug*

I think that might be it Ping.  I enjoyed the TV series Disney did on it and the cartoon done it years before that.  Course I was 10 or something when I saw them.

I do need to get around to reading the books though.
