Mr Weasley in Azkabam
« on: June 09, 2005, 06:32:13 AM »

In the PoA, Fred says that his dad had to go to Azkabam once...

Was it just a trip (which I doubt) or do you think he did something illegal?

I guess I had never thought of the possibility of him being actually locked up there... I always just assumed he had been there on Ministry business.  It is interesting, though.  I've never thought of Arthur as someone who would do something against the law.  (Unless you count tinkering with muggle artifacts.  But that's not technically illegal, since he made himself a convenient little loophole in the law.)

I concur; I do not see Arthur doing anything so horrible as to have him sentenced to Azkaban.  If he was there, perhaps there was a Death Eater connected to enchanting Muggle objections.  Could this be a hint as to what happened to Sirius Black's motorcycle?

Ooh, that's an excellent and very interesting point... Unfortunately, I don't think we can speculate more until the 7th comes out (in which case... there won't be much need for speculation).

At least to me, it's going to be a little sad once the 7th book comes out.  I rather like speculating.
