And one each to Xan and Christine.

OK, I have to ask: Xan, how do you pronounce Xan? I've always pronounced it like "Zan" but I heard that the Chinese X is like an English "Sh," which would make it "Shan" right? Is it a long A like "cane" or a short one like "pan?" Sorry, it's been bugging me for a while.  ;D

It's pronounced like "Zan" and rhymes with "pan", actually. ;) Some people do say the a like "cane" which is fine too, though.

... I actually didn't realize that the chinese X is pronounced like "sh". :P Well, I kinda did, but didn't make that connection until now, so ... yeah.

2 to Xan and 1 to Christine.

Oh good, at least I was pronouncing it right. I have a friend, and part of her name is Xuan, and I still can't figure out how to pronounce it: it's like Shwayne or Shooyan or something crazy.

Two points to Christine

Last night, I had a dream that HBP had come out and everyone had read it, but I couldn't get my hands on a copy. I was so peeved, because everyone was talking about it, and I was like "No! Shut up! I want to read it!"

What a nightmare! *shudders*

I have dreams kind of like that about Star Wars movies. It's playing on some TV somewhere, and I can't get people to leave me alone long enough to watch it. So annoying.
