Dealing with frustration
« on: April 08, 2005, 01:26:21 PM »

So lately, I've been in situations with people that frustrate me. I get annoyed, but I have a REALLY hard time expressing my own feelings. I want to be able to do that, but I am paranoid, to put it mildly. Does anyone have advice on expressing your emotions without coming across as rude? (One of the things on my "ways to frustrate Ping" list is people who say they're just being honest, when really they're just being rude.)

Any thoughts or experiences? I didn't learn this sort of thing growing up, so I'm trying to teach myself.

I'm dealing with the same things at times Ping.  I don't like to get upset with people, but then I bottle it up inside and take it out on those I love so it still ends up hurting me. I can't win.
