Tri-Wizard Lightening Round
« on: March 11, 2005, 08:38:36 AM »

On Sunday, there will be a Tri-Wizard Touranment Lightening Round.  For students not competing in the tournament, there will be an opportunity for 1/2 the point value to answer the test presented to our tournament competitors.  There will only be 24 hours to answer the question once it is posted.  This is an individual effort; no PMs or discussions in common rooms to find the answer or you will LOSE big points for your house.  Please check this thread for details this weekend.

The quantity of consonants in the English language is constant. If omitted in one place, they turn up in another. When a Bostonian "pahks" his "cah," the lost r's migrate southwest, causing a Texan to "warsh" his car and invest in "erl wells."
