Everyone, line up to shake Shelly's hand (while she's still got one), as she's just become Keeper of the Keys and Grounds. Her duties are similar to other prefects and professors, but her special area of expertise will be in the role-playing threads. She will award points for good role-playing and subtract them for bad (breaking character, hurting other characters without their consent, etc.).

Thanks Shelly, and good luck!

//slaps Shelly hard on the back so that the butterbeer Shelly is drinking comes out her nose//

Congratulations, Shelly!  Oops.  Does that count as hurting someone without their consent?  :P

Shelly, no hard feelings about the whole Petrificus deal, right? ???

Nah, that's cool. All in the spirit of RP. No hard feelings about beating the ever-loving snot out of you? Good.

*loudly*

Whatever could you be talking about, AZ?

*huge wink, and a nod*

Man, still can't believe it. I feel so... honored. I should probably be more upset that I got chucked out, huh? ;D

Tell me about it. I'm still trying to figure out what these are all for.

*holds up key ring with no less than ninety-seven keys; little gold keys, big silver keys, even keys with flashing lights*

Can you imagine trying all of these keys in every lock in the school? It takes me an hour to get through any of these doors. See this one? It's the only one I can remember; it opens the pantry in the kitchens. ;D

Still... *jangles keys around just to hear the noise* it's a pretty sweet deal. ^_^

Tch. Sorry, AZ. I can't. I'm a semi-prefect. There's responsibilities, you know?

However... if I were to somehow happen to be looking at your record, and I somehow brought it to the Great Hall, while I accidentally left it on the table while getting some crumpets, and someone were to somehow find it by accident, well, that would be a different story.

;D
