Well, the differences between Slytherin and Gryffindor aren't as great as those between, say, Slytherin and Hufflepuff. :)

I assume that was back before I added the email stuff. Or else you're just one of the people that I got emails for that never bothered to tell me who they were. :) So no worries.

I knew she had an evil side, and if the treat wars weren't enough you'd think her signature would be a clue.  ;)  But Shelly, SLYTHERIN?  I mean....  SLYTHERIN??  *looks askance at you*  I don't know if we can be friends anymore.

No way Shelly! You've always seemed like a true Gryffindor to me!

Morgan, I think you're a wonderful addition to the boards and I don't think you've done anything to merit a jinxing, so don't sweat it. You're probably just earning too many points for your own good.  ;D

A couple of years ago, I think I found this site, but it was a bit different, but anyway, I had taken the test, and I had been made a Slytherin. I never really went on, but now, since a year, whenever I take a Harry Potter sorting hat test, and I'm always a Hufflepuff!

Shelly, glad you're staying in Gryffindor.  We need you.  Lauren, nice to see you're staying, too.  I actually originally sorted into Hufflepuff (we're talking way back when the Cold War was still going on), but I resorted and got into Gryffindor.  I actually created a sock once who got sorted into Ravenclaw, too, but I couldn't sustain her personality very well, so I dumped her.  Anyway, I'm rambling, now.

Oh, and Morgan, if you are ever tempted to think that Shelly doesn't have an evil side, just try one of the tasty treats that she offers you.  But I'd suggest trying them in private because, uh, you might be embarrassed as to how you, uh, emerge from it.

Cho, I'd never ever switch. Plus, I took the test way back before the dawn of time, so I doubt the malfunction was already effecting things.

I think I joined up here in summer 2000, but I didn't really get active until the following summer, which I think is when I finally went and sorted myself, and I've been a Gryffindor ever since.

Uhh...

I'll be right back, after I think of a way to respond to all these unfounded accusations!

Yes, that's true, Shelly, but that's ONLY because of Madam Pomfrey!

But we digress at this point.  Perhaps we should take this discussion elsewhere ....

I know I'm late ... but now I'm tempted to take the test once again. :P

edit - lol, Slytherin again. ;D

I was actually wondering if I'd get that. Hmm ... is there any way to see your 'score'? Like how close you were to getting into the other houses.

Only that you're related to Draco. Some of us are related to non-evil characters, like Hermione.  ;)

I'm the only one in this mess that's switched houses....  Most people have become attatched to their houses, I guess...  ;D

Not quite, Morgan. Mad switched to Hufflepuff a while back. It was sad. We finally got her back though, with some... er... persuasion.  ::)

Hmm ... is there any way to see your 'score'? Like how close you were to getting into the other houses.

I'd be interested in that, too. I remember I tried to copy the way Ping did her sorting hat for my website, but I just wound up with a bunch of broken tags and scripts, and when I did make it work, I had to manually assign points to each question, add them up when I got their results, and then email people to tell them what house they were in. What a mess.

I wonder if the sorting hat was broken back then??  *hopeful*  I'd like to think I'm really a Gryffindor at heart.  (Although Hufflepuff would probably be my next pick.  Sorry, Ravenclaws.   ;))

Lol! Poor AZ! Welcome back, though! :)

So, do you WANT to be in Slytherin? You could change under the resort if you want, but I don't know i the board could handle it. ;)

Not required, no. I can't recall now if I said older students could retest and change houses if they want, which I might have done. I can't remember and I can't find it anywhere. Though actually I think AZ has been around long enough that he was sorted properly the first time. :)
