Hermi Art, Sugar Alert!
« on: July 02, 2004, 02:03:45 AM »

I felt like drawing something quick, extremely cute, and cartoony. And because I was bored, it ended up colored too.

Whoo, a 100% Gryffindor post...scary. :)

And you're in........Ravenclaw? Well, it IS a good excuse because you were BORED, but for any other reason, that's not right!

It's cute! I like it a lot. Just out of curiousity, did you use oekaki to draw it?

Just looking at it makes me wanna do some fanart. ^__^

Grr...got all the way up through Japanese 202 and I still don't get...what's oekaki? Support-writing?

You mean, like tracing, or just looking at another picture while you draw?

I think what  she means by oekaki is you draw it first on piece of paper then color it on the computer  :)

Its so cute purplerebecca!

No, oekaki is an online drawing board. You draw pictures in the oekaki paint program and when you finish you hit send, and its sent to the board just like a message is sent here. They actually used to be pretty popular in the Harry Potter fandom a few years ago, with a very large board at Edward Juan's fan art site.

Thanks ya'll! ^^
No, I didn't use an oekaki board. I've only used those once or twice; I don't like their black lines--all pixelated. :)
This was drawn and inked by hand and then colored in photoshop.
