Pretty boring, but JK Rowling's website.  I spend hours on it, sometimes just staring.  Praying that the sign on the door will spontaneously drop...

Thanks Morrin. You can call School of the Phoenix, SotP if you want to, kind of like LotR - Lord of the Rings.

I don't think any one from Hogsmeade is over there.  ::) I wouldn't know unless I either asked or checked IP addresses, but there's no way I can check IP addresses here.  ;) No one has signed up with any usernames that make me wonder if their from here though. :P

I just signed up for MuggleNet Interactive out of sheer boredom, and it's pretty cool. You get real money and shops and stuff, and theres a fairly entertaining dueling game. The only problem I have is that my computers too slow to easily handle all the flash on the site.

I used to have a Harry Potter site, but its so old and delapidated now. I haven't even visited it since seventh grade (four years ago), much less updated it.

Whenever I try to look at your website, it just comes up with a search thing. *shrugs*

I have a Harry Potter website, it's really just a set of forums, but the navigation is here, and the main forum is here.

Right now I guess it's MuggleNet.

On a tangent ... I tried out MuggleNet Interactive today, and the Sorting Hat is telling me that I'm like Lord Voldemort.

I checked out Mugglenet Interactive.  The site is pretty cool, but I wasn't impressed with the discussions in the forums.  The discussions don't contain much analysis.  Most of the posts seem like bickering between forum members.  I like this site.  Ahhh - home sweet home.

Actually, that was one of the problems.  My main complaint was so many "me too" posts or "you are stupid" posts -I don't mind disagreement, but I would like an articulated reason.  It was hard to wade through 30+ posts on a topic when only 10% were substantive and the rest were bickering or dittos. That is why I like this site, the posts count - people actually post their ideas and back them up with thought.

I also like

www.broomsticksandowls.com

It's a HUGE forum, and I belong there, too. Same username and everything. I hate to say it, but it is slightly larger than hogsmeade.

This, and www.jkrowling.net, are the only sites I visit anymore.

Trust me, the rest of them either take themselves WAY too seriously, or are far too childish to take seriously.  Or, on a rare occasion, both.  :P

My first favorite site used to be Viola Owlfeather's Harry Potter Box at http://www.geocities.com/morgenglanz/hp/gbindex.html

But, I must admit it's a long time since I was there now. In fact, I don't go to HP-sites that much anymore....I just try to find a few good ones, and then stay there. This site is probably my new favorite then :)

Also, I used to belong at http://hol.org.uk/, which is a huge sort of Virtual Hogwarts...I more or less stopped going there, too, but since I nearly lived there for over a year, I guess I should mention it when asked about my favorite HP-sites. Also, if any of you know http://www.hpgalleries.co.uk/, the above site began as a kind of extra-feature there. Old HPGalleries also used to be a favorite site for me, but it's been down for ages, and is not as good as before now.

Well - I guess that's about it :) Have fun!

Umm ... correct me if I'm wrong, but quizilla was designed for quizzes, not fanfic. You should probably go to FFn or FictionAlley for that. :)

As for me, I've been spending a lot of time surfing 'round a certain HP LJ community. It's fun. (Though it is a bit quiet...)

Livejournal. It's an internet blogging/diary site, where you can have communities and such. Same idea as a forum, but different format. I'm a member of the same community. It is pretty fun over there.
