Stormy saw the advert for the quest and rushed to the Hufflepuff common room to sign up. She writes up her admission scypt.
I, Susie Pricklewood, am 14 years of age and mature and responsible. I have dealt with an amazing amount of stress before, see my biograophy "The Life and Times of Stormymind" also "Magical Moi".
On a serious note, I have dealt with animals my whole life (most of them with teeth and the ability to breathe fire, also completely illegal). Magical creatures are my passion and I wish to have a job dealing with them. So vote for me, Susie Pricklewood to be numero deux in your quest!

Stormy hoped Crystalis had a sense of humour.

Crystalis goes and checks her enchanted list and sees susies name on it, she reads the admission script and laughs, it would be a good thing to have some one funny on this trip because it was goin g to be long and hard. She places a tick by the name...

Lena saw stormy writing something. She read it, and then asked, 'What's that for?' pointing at the letter.
Stormy looked at her. 'It's a letter to Crystalis, she's starting a quest to search for magical creatures! Why don't you join? You'd be good, seeing as you can talk to snakes and all that.'
Angelina nodded. 'You're not 14 though.' she noted. Stormy blushed. 'Who's gonna know the difference?' she asked. Lena laughed, got out a piece of parchment and wrote:
Hi, I'm Angelina Tonks and I would like to apply for your quest. I can talk to snakes if that is any use, but I'm not evil, I swear I'm not (even though one of my ancestors was Haricot). Please let me go on your quest, I love magical creatures, in fact, my mum works with them at the ministry! Do you know her? She's called Chastity Tonks. Anyway, please let me join! Pretty please!
'Finished.' Lena announced, and showed stormy the letter.

"Quick! Send it off before someone else takes your place!" said Stormy, her and Angelina rush off to find Crystalis. They find her in the library researching animals.
"Hey, you! We've got another form!" shouts Stormy, people turnand make hushing noises.
Crystalis walks over, "Oh Stormy, I wanted to tell you, you've been accpeted."
"Really, oh yeah! Round the world here I come!" Stormy did a little victory dance.
"Erm.. here you go." said Angelina passing, over the form.

Kelpie saw all of this happening, and it interested her alot so she decided to place an application.

I, Kelpie, would like to join your expedition to Africa about magical creatures. I went to Africa when I was small, actually only six months, but I've been! If you didn't know, there is an animal which is called a kelpie. My parents named my after it. It's definition is: This British and Irish water demon can take various shapes, though it most often appears as a horse with bulrushes for a mane. Having lured the unwary on to its back, it will dive straight to the bottom of its river or lake and devour the rider, letting the entrails float to the surface. The correct means to overcome a kelpie is to get a bridle over its head with a Placement Charm, which renders it docile and unthreatening. The world's largest kelpie is found in Loch Ness, Scotland. Its favourite form is that of a sea serpent (see below). International Confederation of Wizard observers realised that they were not dealing with a true serpent when they saw it turn into an otter on the approach of a team of Muggle investigators and then transform back into a serpent when the coast was clear. The kelpie is rated: Dangerous / requires specialist knowledge / skilled wizard may handle.

Ok, so that might not really want to make you want to take me, but it shows that I don't mind doing research. Actually, I think that the definition is slightly wrong, because I have a trained pet kelpie, and she's never eaten anyone, and is extremely loving. I trained her myself. So there I guess I'm trying to say is I'm good with animals, a good thing for the trip.
I know this application doesn't make you want to take me on the trip, but I think I'd really be good with it, and if you took me, I'm sure you wouldn't regret it. I'd put a lot of effort into doing a good job. Plus, I'm a good friend (actually one of their best friends) of Stormy, who I know is going, and Angelina who applyed as well, so there would be no problems getting along with people.
Thank you for reading this pathetic note,
Kelpie

Kelpie didn't think she had done a good job, but she had never been good at writting letters, and it wasn't about to change. At least she hadn't lied about anything, that was a start.
Kelpie found Crystalis in the library, and handed her the note, dearing to slip in a smile.

I bend down to write my letter to Kelpie.
Kelpie, Although your admission was very interesting I feel you have not fully described your experience with magical creatures. I would be very obliged if you would rewrite your admission and describe your experiences and not your name. I do know how to stop a Kelpie, most people who have read Magical Beasts and Where to Find Them do. Thank you. Crystalis.

The real  crystalis reads the applications and wishes her brother would not hack onto her account, although some of it was true.
She knows what a pain tonks can be when she gets out of hand and wonders who on earth can I control these people, but then she remembers the magical parchment she was given giving her ultimate power, meaning people cannot rise from the dead a million times or go completely out of hand. They can only control their own characters and destiny. She decides to accept them all because they all have a vast amounts of experience in this area however she still needs two more people to go on the quest otherwise they will be doomed to failure. So she goes and thanks Kelpie for her application and tells her not to put herself down as much.

(ooc naughty brother!)
Stormy rushes to her friends, "Have you been accepted?" she asks.
"Yes!" they shreek, all the girls giggle and  rush up to pack.
Stormy threw some clothes into her trunk, along with toiletries, broom, make up, books, potions, wand and other strange objects.
She grabbs a strange gem and throws it in too along with her diary. This quest is going to be fun, she thought.

"If you read the note, you'll understand."said crystalis
Kelpie quickly flicked open the letter, and read it.
"I put all the stuff about the name just for interesting information, plus I had to look it up, so I thought you might guess that I'm willing to go through whole books, just for an application. But the whole thing tells you about how kelpie's our quite dangerous animals, that kind of stuff, and I told you about my pet. I managed to train a kelpie, not only train, but domesticate (can you say that?) her. I guess I was showing that I have experience with dangerous animals, and I managed, if I'm not too bold to say, I managed to do quite a good job.

"Come on, Kelpie! We have to pack!" cried Stormy and she grabbed her friend and pulled her away.
"But, she said..." Kelpie started.
"Who cares what she said, your in!" said Lena.
"Man, its going to be so good!" laughed stormy.
"You two! This is a serious mission, people could get hurt, we need to be serious." said Kelpie.
"We know." said Stormy hurt, "But we can still enjoy it..."
"No, we have to be..." started Kelpie.
"Life isn't just in black and white, kelpie." said Lena wisely.

Stormy looked at her. 'Since when have you said wise things like that?' she asked in amazement.
'Since now.' Lena said huffily. 'We need two more people though.'
Kelpie looked around the common room, then she shouted. 'Anyone want to go on a quest?'

"Oh come on Kelpie, we need people who are good with animals, not Danni!" cried Stormy.
"Well he could come, he has a wide range of knowledge and hes experienced." Begged Kelpie.
"He knows nothing of animals, especially magical ones!" said Stormy annoyed.
"She's right." said Lena, "He's just not qualified."
"He can still try!" argued Kelpie.
"Have you even asked him whether he wants to come, you may be his girlfriend but your not his boss!" Stormy had a point.
"Ofcourse he wants to go! Who wouldn't?" Kelpie snorted.
"Kelpie! I can't believe you didn't ask him!" cried Lena.
"I will." said Kelpie.

(since when have I been so obssesed with Danny?)

"You know, I'm not completely sure if she let me. She didn't seem so keen of me, crystalis."said Kelpie
"Well, why wouldn't she want you?"said Stormy
"I don't know. I have had experience. Look at Kelpie Jr. my kelpie. She's really nice, and they're supposed to be man eating creatures. I thought she might think that was good for this particcular thing, but she didn't really seem impressed...I don't think she likes me."said Kelpie

"Look Kelpie, I hate to seem insensitive but your in, she excepted you and we do have more important matters to think about. We need two more candidates or the quest shall fail before it even started!" Stormy said.
"I know, I know!" muttered Kelpie, "But who? Who will join?"
"I have no idea!" exclaimed Lena, "Oh no! We're doomed to failure."
"Don't be daft!" snapped Stormy, "You over exaggerating now."
"But we are!" moaned Lena.
"Oh come on, there must be someone." Kelpie half pleaded.

Angelina began to write with her wand.
There is a quest to save the magical creatures of the world - two more questees needed.
The advert went around the room, and then travelled somewhere else.
'Since when was 'Questees' a word?' stormy asked.
'Since when I wrote it up there.' Angelina replied. 'I hope somebody applicates soon.'
''Applicates'? What next? Pigs flying?'

What if I asked Cerberus to join? Do you think she would? She's allways seemed so nice to me, I'll go ask."said Kelpie, and then she walked off

'Did we even get the chance to give our opinion?' Lena asked stormy.
'Nah.' stormy shook her head. 'What were you gonna say?' she asked.
'Okay.'
'So it doesn't really matter.'
'I guess not. So, if Cerberus says yes, then we need one more person.'
'That's right.'
'Oh.'
'What?'
'Nothing.'

But Kelpie never even got to Cerberus. She was walking down a deserted corridor, and a hand grabbed her. It coverdered her mouth, so when she tried to scream for help, no one could hear it. And then it all went black...

"Look! I hate to be rude but if this quest  doesn't start soon, I'm out!" Stormy cried.
"It's ok," soothed the girl, "Get your stuff and the others and we'll be gone within the hour."
"OK." said Stormy and she ran off.

Stormy, Crystalis and Lena waited by the horseless carriage.
"If she's not here in ten minutes, we're going without her, "said Crystalis, "We don't have time for this!"
"Yeah, enough times been wasted and this quest is important!" huffed Stormy

Suddenly Lena fell to the floor moaning, her eyes turned black and a evil voice shouted,
"abandon this quest or your friend will die!"
then lenas eyes returned to their normal colour. She lay down looking bemused and got up rubbing her temples, she said,
"oh well she's not here lets go"...

'Yeah, I can remember that clearly. But this time I was just stood up one minute, and laid down the next. So, Kelpie's not here. Should we go then?' Lena asked.
'We're not going.' Crystalis told them.
'What? Why not?' stormy asked, frustrated.
'You heard what Angelina said, or whoever it was.'
'What did I say?' Lena asked.
'Well, basically, you said that Kelpie would die if we went.' stormy explained.
Angelina groaned. 'Oh, poo this.' she said. 'Let's just accio her. After three. One, two - '
'Accio her?'
'Yeah, it's that summoning charm remember?'
'Will it work?'
'I dunno, if we try it then we'll see. So, after 3, 1, 2, 3! Accio Kelpie!' All three of them said the last part, and Kelpie came zooming towards them. 'What the?' she began, but stormy started shouted. 'Say thankyou then! We just saved your flippin' life!'

The four girls piled into a carriage and rode off.
"You do realise this quest may change our lives?" Kelpie asked.
"Yes," said Stormy, "You do realise this quest gets us out of school?"
"Yes!" laughed Lena.
Crystalis smiled grimly, let them be happy, for now.........

Stormy and Lena hunched over the scrolls, muttering strange words in foreign languages.
"What you doing?" asked kelpie curiously, leaning over to read the scrolls.
"Reading the Mabuchi curse in Kalakian." sad Stormy, not looking up.
"Desciphering the old language ow Tawahi." Lena mumbled, her nose inches from the scroll.
"Oh." said Kelpie, not understanding at all.

Lena stared. She hadn't seen ow Tawahi for a long time, and she was a bit rusty on it.
'"Tyu I bé cantate novem icle sia"' Lena read. 'Aargh!' she screamed. Deciphering can be a bit hard on the brain. Stormy was muttering away to herself, and crystalis was talking to Kelpie. What better time to - no, she musn't. She must resist the urge.

'What? What's interesting?' Angelina asked. She could have very good listening when she wanted.
'Huh? What?' Crystalis jerked out of a trance. 'Oh, nothing.'
Angelina looked at her suspiciously. 'Ah well, I'll jut have to read your mind then, or give you some veritaserum.' she said casually, smirking in her mind.
'I can do occlumency you know.' Crystalis said to her matter-of-factly. Darn 'And how are you going to get me to drink veritaserum?' she asked inquisitively.
'Oh, if I were to tell you that, that would be a bit stupid of me!' Angelina exclaimed.

(ooc sorry, been abit busy with christmas and all!)
Stormy fell asleep at around two in the morning, scrolls for a blanket and her rucksack for a pillow. She was whisked off to the dreamworld in a matter of seconds, she had the strangest dream...

Willow awoke, it was the dead of night and her small mud hut was freezing for her fire had burnt out. She jumped up, her tall dark bodie bent over trying to find her fire sticks. Where are they, she thought, I cannot have lost another pair! Angrily, she ran from her hut into the dark night. There was a terrible sound like a thousand saws being scraped across a thousand trees and a girls scream. Tanyas remains was a bloodied skeleton with dark brown eyes still in thir sockets, her flesh had been sucked off.
Stormy awoke to see the ghost of the skeleton right infront of her, her friends were asleep, she was alone with the ghost.
"Find it for me!" crackled the skeleton, its horrible eyes staring at her, "Find the beast and kill it!"
Its hand reached out for her, silvery blood dripping from it but it disappeared like dust being blown away when Lena snorted in her sleep.
Stormy collasped, her breathing heavy and uneven. Whatever had happened was not good. She reached over to Crystalis to wake her up, she needed help.

'I'm fine!' stormy snapped. 'And anyway, what were you dreaming about?'
Agnelina blushed again. 'It was nothing, noone, Nothing!' she said.
'Ooh, was it someone you fancy?' stormy asked.
'Yeah, but you're never going to find out!' Angelina said, and then returned to looking at her book.

Stormy narrowed her eyes, if only I could read minds she thought. Lena noticed her stare and smiled annoyingly. Stormy quickly looked away.
"Don't think like that Stormy." mused Lena.
"Don't read my mind, I have my prid." sulked stormy, "Tell her Crystalis."
"Stop it." said Crystalis, "Both of you."

'Why?' Lena asked.
'Because we've all got to stick together on this quest, that's why.' Crystalis told her.
'Just get some glue then.' Lena said sarcastically.
Crystalis gave her a stern look.
'Stop being so immature Lena.' stormy said.
'But I like being that way!' Lena argued.
'Stop it again, both of you!' Crystalis shouted. Lena looked down.
'Sorry.' she muttered, embarassed.

Crystalis snook off into the deep dark dusk in the forest, she followed the ghost blood, the others were already scared enough they did not need to be even more terrified.
"ah crystalis I've been waiting for you for above an hour.."claimed a strage masculine voice.

Angelina looked at Crystalis, relieved. 'You're okay!' she squeled and hugged Crystalis. Then she looked at stormy. 'I think stormy's asleep.' she informed Crystalis. 'And I've no idea where Kelpie is.' she looked at Cedric. She gasped. 'Cedric Diggory! But you're dead!' she half-yelled, but stormy did not even stir in her sleep.
'I have bad news.' he said.

'I- I can't put it into your words!' Stormy told them.
Lena let out a frustrated sigh. 'Okay then, just relax, and I'll use legilimency on you.'

Meanwhile, in a swamp nearby. Kelpie was ferreting around. She had heard a voice calling out something, but she couldn't hear what. So, she had followed the noise. The place was damp and bleak, and was getting soggier by the step. And then she could no longer hear the noise, just the splish splash oh her footsteps. Klpie stopped moving for a moment to try and distinguish any other sounds, but there were none.
Suddenly, she felt a clawded hand clasp itself over her mouth, and an arm rap itself around her. She screamed with all her might, but all you could hear was a wimper. The arm dragged her off.

Crystalis convulsed, she gasped,
"It is come, mt fears were true, we are doomed,"
Crystalis explained that when she was small her parents had been hypnotised by LV. They had been experts in magical creatures, he hypnotised them so they created the creature from the apocalypse. That could and would end the world. Her parents had been killed by it but before they wre they spelled it so it would only rise when LV came to power, and their daughter and 3 gifted students and a ghost and a mystical creature could defeat the beast.
"The only problem is I do not know how and we really need to find Kelpie, for it destroys what ever may do it damage." she calmly stated.

Stormy ran into the dark, "KELPIE! Kelpie!" she screeched, "Kelpie, come back here now!"
She held a candle, crystalis had informed her that the monster feared light. But the wind was strong and the candle went out so stormy had to run back to the carriage before the monster could get her.

The monster dragged Kelpie off for what seemed like centuries, until they arrived to a cave. They entered it, and the monster strapped Kelpie to a stalagmite, and then walked off. She looked around her. It was dark, but after a while you got used to it, and started to distinguish the other forms. There were bones lying everywhere on the floor. And not only animal bones, but human bons as well.

They shivered as they were plunged in to total darkness, thinking the sun would never again rise in their eyes. They saw their lives rush past their eyes and realised they were crying tears of sorrow, for what had they achieved. Instead of killing them these thoughts made them stronger and more determined. They leaped out of the carriage in one accord as they did they heard a deep growl and a mascular savage were wolf joined them in forced as the daughter, the 3 witches, the ghost and the mystical creatured leaped to their fate, and destiny.

"Yes," muttered Lena, "It is our destiny."

The cave walls were graffitied with pictures of demonds, sacrifices and monsters. The paint was a reddy brown thick liguid and Stormy hoped she would never find out what it was. Jumping over the bones, they heard a low growl not very far off.

'AAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!' Angelina screamed, andtried to run away from the monster but she was paralysed with fear. 'I want to go! Won't you let me go? Let me go please!' she smiled. 'This is not real, this is not real, this is not real...' she chanted, curling her headin her arms. She stopped, and looked up. She was still there. 'Why am I still here?' she asked, confused. 'I don't want to be here, even my imaginary world is better than here...'
'Well, maybe you're so scared you've accidentally blocked yourself from going there.' Crystalis told her, trying not to run.
'But I need it most when I'm scared!' Lena screamed. 'I want to go in my mind!' she moaned, and started crying. 'I don't like this!' she said through sobs. 'I want to go home!'
Stormy looked at Lena, surprised.

The werewolf vampire thing handed her a vial of blood, stormy reluctantly gave her a spoon, diggory gave her a wisp of his essence and lena gave her a snake broach and one of kelpies scrunchies.
"why did you have that?"asked stormy.
"well it looked so pretty and sparkled so I took it."explained Lena.
"That doesn't matter"said crystalis, who lifted up her top and felt around in her belly button and pulled out an emerald. Everyone else looked horrified.
"What its my birth stone?"
She then took out a leather pounch and put all the items in it, then she ground them up together. And blew.

The merged souls charged at the monsterand entered it. The monster howled even more, and burst. The golden light was seen again, but then it burst into six colours: silver, red, blue, green, orange and purple. A clour each entered Crystalis, Stormy, Angelina, Kelpie, the werewolf guy and Kelpie.

Lena hastily tried to hide her privates and closed her eyes, because she didn't want to see anyone else's either. Crystalis conjoured herself and the others clothes. Lena opened her eyes again. 'Thanks!' she said, relieved. She looked around. The sky was blood red with no clouds, and the ground was flat, and black. 'So, erm, what do we do now?' she asked.

'Look!' Lena shouted, and pointed to the only cloud in the sky, which was advancing towards them at a great speed. 'The four horsemen of the apocalypse!'
Lena counted them. Yes, there were four. Death, pestilence, war and famine.
'We gotta get out of here!' Lena screamed. 'Before we're too late!'
Pestilence looked down from the cloud. 'Oh, don't mind us, we're on our way to the Discworld. There's an apocalypse due soon.' he said matter-of-factly.
War corrected him. 'Another apocalypse, remember?'
Death shook his head disapprovingly. 'SO MUCH FOR VACATIONS' he said, and they carried on riding.
