I cannot express how excited I am to live in driving distance of Orlando, FL, or what will soon be known as Hogwarts!!!!! Well, I know this has been dead for quite some time, but much else on the board (all?) has been dead... so I feel no shame in bringing this back up The theme park is now set to open in 2010, and there are tons of sneaky photos all over the internet. Anyone kept up with this at all? |

I haven't seen the pictures - where are the links?  ? I would love to look at them. The Universal website has several "artist renderings" of what it may look like. I can only imagine how hard it is going to be to get into the park when it opens. However, I am sure I will be one of the masses. |

The renderings on the official site are cool but the "unofficial" pics are way better! I can't remember the URL and I'm posting from my phone so hard to find the links - but I just found them with a good google search. There's some site that has a TON of pics and captions with little bits of news. If someone funds it before I do, post the link - otherwise I will later.
As for me, I'll go, but it will be a while before I can afford that!

Oh - also - I wanted to ad - there was a TV special about the theme park that was run in Orlando, FL. It's somewhere on YouTube (again, I can't remember how I came across it...), but worth looking if anyone is motivated!

I'm torn. Harry Potter! But there will probably be roller coasters, which ... um ... too scared. I have a thing about heights. (It's probably a good thing I never took up Quidditch, eh?) But ... Harry Potter!
